The Hexwork beta

Test Hexwork. Tell us the truth.

Hexwork turns a plain description into a working website or web app, then hosts it for you. We're looking for 10 people to use it properly for 30 days and tell us honestly what works and what doesn't.

Apply for a seat What you get

Who it's for

UK small businesses

A bakery, a plumber, a salon. A proper website without learning a website builder or paying an agency.

Startups

Try an idea with a real web app: sign-ins, bookings or a shop, live in an afternoon.

Agencies and freelancers

You can sell websites but can't build them. Hexwork does the building, you look after the client.

What you get

  • Agency features, free for 30 days. All three spells: Charm, Jinx and Hex.
  • Websites and web apps, with online bookings and an online shop.
  • 1,000 credits to build with. Run out? Press a button and we'll top you up.
  • Up to 3 live sites on our UK servers, each with a free address.
  • A direct line to the team. Your feedback goes straight to the people building Hexwork.
  • A thank-you when it ends: 50% off your first 3 months of any monthly plan.

What we ask

  1. Build something real in the next two weeks. Your own business, a client's, or an idea you've been putting off.
  2. Press Send feedback when something breaks, confuses you or makes you smile. A sentence is plenty.
  3. Answer two short emails, on day 3 and day 10. One question each.

When the beta ends, your account moves to the free trial and live sites go offline unless you pick a plan. Nothing is deleted. Downloading site files isn't part of the beta.

It takes about five minutes. We'll email you a link to confirm your address, and nothing happens until you click it.

How much time could you give it in the next 2 weeks?

We read every application. A short automated check helps us sort them, and a person looks at anything borderline. We keep applications that aren't accepted for 90 days, then delete them.
